• Inspection to determine if unit can be overhauled
• Ball screw – after strip, unit goes through Magnaflux and inspection; polish and/or grind ball threads, plate and paint
• Ball nut – after strip, unit goes through Magnaflux and inspection; plate and paint
• Reassemble unit and test
